This month's project is: Transplanting Nightshades
Learn how to properly transplant vegetables using soil amendments ideal for our region and help us fill our new beds with baby plants! We will also talk about the Nightshade family as everything we’ll be transplanting is in it!
No experience required. For this project, volunteers should be able to bend and stoop to the ground for planting. Please dress for the weather, and consider a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray. Bring your own garden gloves, if you have them; if you do not bring them, garden gloves will be provided.
For groups larger than 5 people, please contact our volunteer coordinator Ariel Cummins at firstname.lastname@example.org to make sure we have proper accommodations for you.
