National Trails Day at Pease Park

Saturday, June 11th, 2016 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)

About

Please join us at Pease Park for this year's National Trails Day!
The park is going through some major transformations along Shoal Creek and the Hike & Bike Trail. Come June 4th, it will be time to re-establish some of the trails by clearing invasive species, removing flood debris (trash), mulching trails, and doing some general trail maintenance wherever necessary.

The plan is to meet at the Kingsbury Commons Picnic Tables (1100 Kingsbury, Austin, TX) at 9am to break up into groups and get started on some much needed work along the trails.
We will provide water, gloves, and all necessary tools. We ask that volunteers come dressed for outdoor activity (some of which will be along the creek). Long pants and closed toed shoes are recommended.

Thank you all for your service at Pease Park and wherever you may be volunteering this year!

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns,
