About

Learn about organic gardening while helping us maintain our demonstration gardens at our Teaching Garden on Herff Farm. Help us weed, water, use garden tools, and all the wonderful things that are needed to help maintain a beautiful organic garden. No experience is required - we'll teach you what you need to know.

Volunteers should dress for the weather and bring their own hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, reusable water bottle, and snacks. If you have gardening gloves and hand tools, please bring them, but they are optional. After volunteering, please enjoy our Farmer's Market going on from 9am-1pm every Saturday.

This volunteer opportunity is approved for Master Naturalist volunteer hours.

The address for this opportunity is 33 Herff Road, Boerne TX 78006 at the Teaching Garden. When you enter the gate, turn right, and park in front of the 1st barn on your left.

For groups of more than 10 people, please contact our Farm and Garden Education Manager, Sherry Lim, sherry@cibolo.org to ensure we have proper accommodations for your group.

When submitting hours, please write a summary of your experience or attach a photo so we know you were here with us! Thank you!
