Strengthen your college resume astronomically by helping someone soar all the way up to college! Stand apart from the rest and fulfill your hours by becoming a tutor today! No experience is required and we provide all the training and materials. Help someone achieve their dream of higher education, all while making your college experience an empowering one.

Make a difference in the lives of youth who are preparing for their GED and College!

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to tutor our students for the following times: Wednesdays 2 pm - 4 pm or, Fridays 10 am - 12 pm.

  • Volunteer's mission is to serve in the educational transformation of San Antonio's at-risk youth by tutoring and mentoring, so that students may achieve a future they deserve as self-supporting adults, role models as parents, and as contributing members of the community.

Requirement Details
Knowledge/Ability to tutor the following (at either GED or College-level): Algebra, Geometry, or English Language Arts. Passion for working with people who need a second chance.
The minimum time commitment is: 2 hours a week for 6 months.
