Description
Innovation Station brings engineering to life. Innovation station helps kids learn to define problems, identify and test solutions, and to "try, try again" through the design process. 

Your role:
-Engage with all guests
-Discuss how the design process works with children and families
-Model how to design and create different objects to place in the air machines
-Monitor the robot arena and Baxter the robot
-Restock/sort consumable materials
-Keep area tidy and presentable
Requirements
Volunteers 11 and up. Volunteers 11-13 must be accompanied by adult.
Be friendly and engaged. Flexible as well as teachable for facilitation best practices.
Experience with engineering or design process, a plus!
Parking DetailsParking for volunteers is available in the back lot of the museum located on Brackenridge and Broadway Street or along the curb or fence on Brackenridge. You will need to walk along the sidewalk on Broadway to get to the front entrance of the museum.
