Description
The East Yard, or the "calmer" yard, is more nature based with our Sand Scape area, stream, tree house, bamboo forest, wildlife pond and Bubbles Pavilion. 

Your role:
-Ensure safety of children, including no running around or inside Will's Stream or climbing on water fountain area.
-Gather families around at the Storytelling Tree, to read books from the Little Free Library or books from Imagine It.
-Engage with families
Requirement Details
Volunteers 11 and up. Volunteers 11-13 must be accompanied by adult. Be friendly and engaged. Flexible as well as coachable for facilitation best practices. Currently CPR/First Aid Certified desired, but not necessary. ONE-TIME SERVICE VOLUNTEERS:Please sign up at least one week in advance in order to receive paperwork and approve. Be sure to check your email for these forms.PLEASE NOTE, THE DOSEUM DOES NOT ACCEPT COURT MANDATED COMMUNITY SERVICE OR TICKET REMOVAL HOURS.
Parking DetailsParking for volunteers is available in the back lot of the museum located on Brackenridge and Broadway Street or along the curb or fence on Brackenridge. You will need to walk along the sidewalk on Broadway to get to the front entrance of the museum.
