The individual in this role will assist Discovery Leaders in the implementation of our Educational Field Experiences with school aged children Pre-K to 5th grade.
These opportunities occur during the school year, Monday- Friday, 9:30am-12:00pm, except school holidays.
**Volunteers must sign up for the whole shift of 9:00am- 1:00pm(or 12:00pm- if not staying for the debrief with staff)
Observations and Training are required in order to participate in these opportunities. (not required with UIW Course students)

Enjoys working with children 3- 10 years of age. Greet school groups in professional and friendly manner. Assist Discovery Leaders in welcoming and obtaining numbers of children/chaperones/teachers upon arrival. Able to engage with school groups and adjust to their needs. Assist with set up and cleanup of materials in classrooms. Assist with transition of school groups between classrooms and gallery exploration.
|Parking Details||Parking for volunteers is available in the back lot of the museum located on Brackenridge and Broadway Street or along the curb or fence on Brackenridge. You will need to walk along the sidewalk on Broadway to get to the front entrance of the museum.|
