If you like museums, opportunities to learn history and enjoy public speaking this is an ideal volunteer opportunity for you!
We have several tours at the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures on weekday mornings and we rely on volunteers to lead these groups to various exhibits in the museum. The majority of these tours are with area elementary and middle schools.
The tours are usually Monday though Friday in mid-morning and tour guide volunteers need only come in once a week for just a few hours.
No experience needed, training is provided. Must be a current UTSA student who enjoys public speaking to elementary school students and be willing to learn and impart all the content necessary for the tour.
