I helped turn off lights and post sticky notes at the Robert Lee Moore (RLM) Hall Building to help promote an awareness of energy and light conservation around the UT campus to faculty, students, and staff. I helped turn off lights in the classrooms and offices with a team of individuals. I enjoyed this experience because I have the opportunity to meet new people while making a difference in spreading energy conservation across the campus community.
I had a fun time doing this and met new people while we helped turn off lights and monitors! We even won the picture contest and got a free shirt, and the leaders that ran the event made it really enjoyable! I will probably do this again!
