It was a great experience! You get to have fun and interact with other students while going around to help the campus save energy.

This event has showed me just how easy it is to save energy at any time anywhere. It felt good knowing that I am a part of something bigger than myself when I am saving energy for a more efficient world.

The volunteers were separated into groups and we got a chance to create an impact by saving energy around campus. Each group was assigned a couple of University buildings and our duty was to turn off unnecessary lights.

It is my first time joining this activity and I'm very glad that I went. Me and two others went and turn off the light and computers at the College of communication. We had fun and were able to help out UT community. I gained more knowledge about conserving energy here at Austin.
