Restore Education

About

Description
Our History

In 1997, the founding staff of Restore Education began working with inner-city high school students to create unique pathways to college. Restore Education officially began in 2008 as the educational outreach branch of a local church. Now, as an independent, non-sectarian 501 (c)(3) organization, Restore Education is committed to helping the youth of San Antonio and its surrounding areas achieve their educational goals. Since 2008, we have helped over 4,000 youth take steps forward in their education and prepare for college.

Our Mission

Our mission is to transform the at risk youth of San Antonio into successful college and career-ready students so that they can achieve the future they deserve as self-supporting adults, role models as parents, and as contributing members of the community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to restore the potential of at-risk youth in Texas through the transformative power of education.

Our Core Values

  • Post-secondary success is for everyone
  • Flexible pathways lead to success for each student
  • Personal transformation is the key to college persistence
