What We're About
The University of Texas at Austin Student Foundation strives to create a culture of philanthropy on campus by providing a student perspective on giving, promoting awareness of the ways private gifts impact student life and demonstrating the importance of giving back to the university to help ensure excellence for future generations of Longhorns. Our motto is "Students Helping Students" and we strive to engage our fellow peers in service and make a tangible impact on campus.
What We Do
The Student Foundation hosts events such as ContribUTe, the university's student giving campaign, each October as well as the student portion of UT's annual giving day, 40 Hours for the Forty Acres, in April. The Student Foundation serves to educate students about philanthropy, help student organizations with their fundraising and thank student donors. We host three panels per semester, giving students the opportunity to learn from and network with professionals in the fundraising and non-profit fields. We host various events throughout the semester in addition to fundraisers and panels!
