Providence Place is a leader in open adoption in Texas, bringing new hope and happiness to couples desperately wanting a child of their own while offering resources to help birth mothers to a healthy delivery and adoption process.
Providence Place is also known for the Center for Higher Independence (CHI) providing a campus experience where young adults with disabilities learn to take responsibility for their lives. They manage tasks of daily living in a way they never dreamed possible – shopping and cooking for themselves, cleaning their homes, managing their money – and open up bright new futures for themselves including employment and living on their own with minimal assistance.
