Cibolo Center for Conservation

About

Our mission is to promote the conservation of natural resources through education and stewardship.

The Cibolo Center for Conservation is committed to hands-on nature education and conservation of natural resources, supported by the generosity of donors.  We have the Cibolo Nature Center, located at 140 City Park Road in Boerne.  Here you will find trails that wind through four distinct ecosystems: creek, prairie, woodlands and marsh.  We also have education programs for both children and adults, ongoing research projects for flora, fauna and water quality, and Native Texas plants.

On the other side of Cibolo Creek you will find our Herff Farm at 33 Herff Road.  Open to the public on Saturdays, Herff Farm volunteers are permitted to work throughout the week.  Here we have gardens, education programs, the historic Herff House, a Saturday Farmer's Market and festivals.
