Habitat for Humanity Volunteer, house #507 October 15th 2016
We were putting in wall for this house (507), we spent the whole day cutting out wood and putting nail onto the wall.
It were really tiring under the condition of hot weather and loud construction noises.
Overall, this was a success. We registered a lot of people to vote.
I volunteered at the Heltotes Human Society event that was similar to a carnival.
I participated on the Kinetic Kids Swimming Volunteer Event on the Schertz location.Kelsi was the supervisor.
This experience was not only beneficial to us students because we made an impact on the community and became more aware of our surroundings, but also the environment because we helped make a difference in constructing the new trails.
It was a really enjoyable project, the enthusiasm that Work Out Help Out brought to the table really put it all together. Needless to say I really did feel like we made a difference.
This experience was amazing and made me think about helping out with this specific group again. My team and I were very motivated by the organizers and had a outstanding time. The workout was motivating to help me finish clearing out the nature trail. All of us made a big difference than just one person could.
Amazing, Great Way to Give back to the Community and Exercise
Great fun time, everyone was nice and it gave me the chance to work out !!
I really had fun. I also thought it was cool how we worked out at the same time!
