Support Mitchell Lake Audubon Center during our Great Backyard Bird Count, a beginner-friendly bird walk that introduces participants to this global community science event and how they can participate on their own. The walk follows an easy route and focuses on spotting birds, learning basic identification, and contributing observations to eBird.

Volunteers will help keep the eBird list during the walk, assist with spotting and identifying birds, and help keep the group together along the route. Volunteers who are comfortable birding and interested in helping lead the walk are welcome to email cassie.festa@audubon.org.

All resources and guidance provided; prior birding experience is helpful but not required.
