Help us celebrate World Snake Day at Mitchell Lake! Volunteers will support a morning of snake-themed activities by helping with crafts and enrichment activities, assisting staff at the snake biofacts table, and offering hand sanitizer to guests after Animal Ambassador snake presentations.

This is a great opportunity for volunteers who enjoy family-friendly events, environmental education, and helping visitors learn more about the important role snakes play in nature. Staff will provide guidance and support throughout the event.

No snake handling required!
