We all went to different buildings around campus, and turned lights off to make sure everyone is saving energy!! It feels great to say I helped my school preserve energy.
I visited Dell Medical School to learn about Women's Health Care Disparity. It was interesting to learn about health care from different perspectives. I think everyone should know about health care in the United States and even where they live. If more of us are aware, the better things can get for those who do not have access to health care. There should be more lunch and learns and more people should attend. It is always great to hear about what is going on in the community in regards to health.
During the Lunch and Learn event, I had the opportunity to meet different people that are involved in Behavioral Health. I also had a chance to learn about the mental health and psychology of people all over the country. It was a great experience and I am going to spread the knowledge to make sure everyone is aware. Mental health is important. Everyone should learn about these things and make their community aware of what is going on and how we can improve.
