I love to write these notes that are personalized messages with encourages messages.
Today's letter has a slightly different message than previous letters. I wanted to let the kid whom receives this letter know that they need to surround themselves with others who are encouraging them to achieve hteir goals rather than those deterring them.
Like stated in previous Review, Reflection, and Feedback boxes, writing this small note of encouragement allows me to feel like I am creating a connection with a child who needs some encouragement. After these letters are sent out, it allows fate to decide who needs a note to read as a pick me up or encouragement to keep doing good.
I hope the small quotes I include in each letter is relative to the reader. With each quote I attempt to explain the relevance to whatever situation the young child might be in. Each week these letters are easier and easier to write.
Like I have been noting in the Feedback boxes each week, the act of writing to a child who is a stranger to me allows me to feel that I have a new connection each week. Knowing that the child might have needed a little "pick me up" message, and I was able to give them one is incredible.
Every week I feel like I am connecting and offering as much encouragement as I can.
Every week, when I am findings a quote to write about and provide a letter of encouragement, I too am gaining encouragement. I hope who ever reads my letter feels inspired through all the rough times we have been experiencing.
Every week, I enjoy writing new letter of encouragement to the kids. They need a boost of energy to keep their goals high and continue education strong during this time.
Writing a letter of encouragement to the kids who are at the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio has helped me to see that they are trying their best during these challenging times.
