    Today we talked about Patron Saints. Sister Durie has plenty of books to share about the topic and even showed us her books about popes. We discussed different saints and how they affect our spiritual lives.

    We read parts of the Gospel of Mark. In addition, we even talked about politics and Sister Durie said she wouldn’t mind a female president! We also learned about how Sister Durie started her spiritual journey when she was only a toddler!

    Sister Durie talked about how we’re all parts of God’s body. He is the mind, and whether we’re a fingernail or a hair, we all still matter. It was a very nice and refreshing talk that gave me lots to think about.
