Had a great time volunteering at the food bank! Probably one of the most engaging and fun time I've had volunteering at any event. For this particular shift I was in charge of getting the food to the food inspectors. Stevo was my volunteer leader and he was great. Absolutely loved him! He gave great vibes and made my volunteering experience very enjoyable. They played 80's music on the loud speakers while we worked which made it that much more fun. Giving back to my community never felt so great. At the end of the shift, Stevo revealed to us that in one shift as a group we managed to package 7,000+ pounds of food!! I was completely blown away. There are many different jobs you can help in so I will definitely come back again and cycle through the various positions.

Volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank has by far been my favorite and most enjoyable volunteering experience. Working alongside Steve, Gabe, Leonard, and volunteer leaders made for a very fun-filled experience. They all believe giving back to the community should not be laborious act, instead it should be done with a smile and to have fun doing it. Their positive attitudes made me come back to the food bank every single shift smiling and ready to work together to help "fight hunger." I rotated between several job positions over the course of my volunteering hours. These included: expediter in which I helped deliver goods to the inspectors, inspector in which I inspected the food before being packaged for delivery, and trash duty in which I discarded of food not suitable for donation. Overall, I would rate my experience at the food bank 5 out of 5 and will definitely keep coming back to donate my time in the future.
I had a great time assisting at the school's winter fest! I mainly helped with pictures with Santa. It was great seeing the excitement and smiles on all of the kids' faces as they got ready to get their pictures taken with Santa. For the entire shift I mainly worked with Sandra (a member of the PTA staff at Blanton Elementary) and she made me feel very welcomed. Overall, this was a very good volunteering experience and would definitely doing again.
Helped load some of the product, helped with office work, and made name tags. Worked with Hannah, Jordan, and Jenna - they were all great!
My experience volunteering for Heather Scott and Company was a unique one and I took a lot from it. I had the opportunity to learn about home renovations and how to make proposals and invoices for the company's new clients. I got to learn this aspect of the company which is the office work. I also got to see the labor aspect part of the company as I learned how to do drywall and texture and some interior painting and even got to do some myself at one of the house projects they were working on that day.
Everything went smooth had a lot of fun helping helping.
Awesome event had a good time helping out!
