It was nice to be able to both see the lights and help out with the event. We mostly answered any questions people had on the trail.
I spent most of the time selling food at the festival as a fundraiser for the River City Youth Foundation. It was fun interacting with different people at the festival and I was happy to help with the fundraiser.
It was fun, and nice to see all the lights by walking around the inside of the trail. I will do this again.
We mostly weeded the garden and cleaned it up a bit. Everyone picked a job to do. The work felt good after awhile and wasn't hard. I plan on going back next weekend and working on the garden some more.
My mentor group's community service project consisted of making and handing hout hot chocolate in front of the PCL. Everyone who received hot chocolate was very appreciative because it was a cold day, and it felt good to surprise people with free hot chocolate.
