    I volunteered at Take a Girl to Engineering Day! I volunteered with IEEE and helped with the Hydraulic Pressure science demos! It was very fun helping elementary school girls understand the power of pressure and how it operates the modern machinery in construction.

    I had a great time helping out at Girlstart DeSTEMber Fest at Bob Bullock!!! I had an awesome time building toy trains for kids and helping them explore what it is like to be an engineer.

    Sunday Night Session

    It was so much fun writing letters to inmates!
    It gave me great joy to help them learn more about the outside world and much more humanizing to call them by name.

    Explore UT - Cockrell School Volunteers

    It was super fun! I got to measure how fast students could throw a tennis ball using a radar gun! It was great! They learned about radio waves and calculating speed.

    Girl Day 2015 Volunteer Registration

    It was awesome to introduce engineering to elementary and middle school girls! Loved working with NXT robots and showing them the "robot puppies" and some of the amazing things they can do.
