I worked little by little starting Monday-Saturday writing letters to the people in my Grandmother's neighborhood. Most of them are old, and do not get many visitors. I thought it would be nice to give them something they could open up and hopefully smile knowing someone thought of them. They were all hand written so that they knew someone put effort into it. On Sunday, I went around delivering them because the chances were good that there wouldn't be any mail in there for me to touch.

    Krishna @ Clothes for Mexico

It was good. We first went though our own clothes to see what we could donate. Then we asked family members to clean out their closets. We went through all of their clothes to see what would be acceptable to donate. Then, this weekend, the about 10 trash bags of clothes will be sent to Mexico for those who need them.

Krishna @ West Minster Preabytetian Day School

I had been here to volunteer two days before, so now I knew the kinda well. They are 4-5 years old. I helped set up before they arrived, and when they got there we played. That day was cooking day, so we made pancakes with all of the kids. Later on there was more playing, and I read to the kids.

Krishna @ West Minster Presbyterian Day School

I showed up at the school at 8:00am to help set up the classroom and prepare for the day. The children, ages 4 to 5, arrived at 9:00am. I helped watch the kid on the play ground for the first activity. They came inside and I helped as the children went through the stations. During free time, I read to a group of girls. I love children, so I was excited to be allowed to help at the school.
