Join Our Team as a Newcomer Middle School Teacher Assistant This Summer!

 Are you passionate about helping students and eager to teach English to newcomers? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teacher Assistant for the summer.

Responsibilities:

• English Tutoring: Assist in teaching English to newcomer students in whole or small group settings.
• Classroom Support: Help with classroom clean-up and organization.
• Individual Assistance: Provide one-on-one support to students, aiding their learning and development.
• Student Supervision: Assist with student pick-up and escort them to the classroom.
• Grading and Feedback: Grade paperwork and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Social Skills Development: Help students develop and improve their social skills.
• Project Assistance: Support students with their summer projects/ assignment and tasks.
• Behavior Monitoring: Follow up on student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Set Up and Clean Up

Qualifications: A strong passion for helping students and teaching English. Flexibility and adaptability in working with students of different backgrounds and needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in both whole group and small group settings. Patience and dedication to support students' learning and growth. Requirements: Three OVASE (online trainings) a Background Check 

Dress Code: T-shirt, Jeans, and closed toed shoes preferred.
