About
Do you enjoy working outdoors and would like to contribute to conservation in San Antonio? Habitat work volunteers help to keep our native gardens and trail systems maintained. The work will vary seasonally and can take place in our woodland, shrubland, grassland, or wetland habitats. Work performed can involve any of the following:
- Trail maintenance (tree trimming, brush removal, weeding, pruning, etc.)
- Habitat maintenance (invasive species removal, planting native plants for pollinators, etc.)
What to wear/bring:
- Closed-toe, sturdy shoes
- Long pants to protect from insects and sun
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Refillable water bottle
- Gloves if you have them (if not, we have ones you can borrow!)
**Please allow 48 hours for registration approval. Registrations will be reviewed during staff hours, Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-3pm.**
